Be aware that you could be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you misrepresent information on our site as infringing your copyrights. Your copyright infringement claim must include the following elements:

1. Evidence of the authorized person to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Sufficient contact information so that we may contact you, including a valid email address.
3. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, including at least one search term under which the material appears in Books1.org search results.
4. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
6. A signature of the authorized person to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly being infringed.

In addition to the aforementioned points, we have gathered books from various online sources. We do not claim any publishing or selling rights for the uploaded books. All the books are sourced from platforms like Facebook, Rekhta, Project Gutenberg, ManyBooks, Open Library, and Feedbooks, and are available free of charge.
